Super Format & Super Format XL
Now, the METEOR DP60 Pro can accommodate Super Format sheets as a standard feature - up to 330 x 650 mm/13"x26". As an option, Super Format XL is also available and offers the capability to print up to 330 x 1020 mm/13"x40". Tri-fold & quad-fold brochures/mailers, book covers or panoramic posters are just a few examples of new applications you can produce with this new feature.
FOGRA
METEOR DP60 Prois Fogra certified using the ISO 12647-7 standard. Thanks to this certification, the Meteor DP60 Pro can be easily integrated into complex print production systems that include offset presses and inkjet printing devices.
METEOR DP60 Pro® Series 4-Color Digital Presses
The Meteor DP60 Pro® multi-substrate digital press is the flagship model in the DP60 series. Designed for higher volume printing, the DP60 Pro has the capability to produce up to 3,900 letter/A4 sheets, 1,600 330 x 487 mm/13"x19" sheets, and up to 32,000 ISO CR-80 PVC plastic cards hourly, in four colors with full variable data. An optional Super Format upgrade kit accommodates up to 330 x 1020 mm / 13 x 40” sheets in production mode. All prints are LASER-SAFE.
The most versatile digital press in the industry, the METEOR DP60 Pro can print on the widest range of paper and plastic substrates. Compatible paper types include matte, glossy, CS1 & CS2, envelopes, textured papers and labels/stickers, in sizes up to 130lb cover and 194lb index (70 to 350 gsm). Plastic/synthetic substrates include PVC, polycarbonate, polyester, Teslin®, vinyl, PET, canvas and magnets, in thicknesses up to 16mil (100 to 400 microns) . All substrates are printed in high quality resolutions of up to 2,400dpi x 200lpi with variable line screen capabilities.
Other unique features of the METEOR DP60 Pro include:
• Vibration Reduction System (VRS)
• Climate Control System utilizing an infrared module to pre-treat substrate surfaces, which regulates temperature and humidity prior to printing
• High capacity pneumatic loader, which accommodates up to 3,000 330 x 650 mm/13"x26" sheets, paper or plastic
• Optional high pile output stacker with a capacity of up to 6,000 sheets
• Adjustable offset feeder table to ensure precise registration (± 0.2mm)
Designed exclusively for paper substrates and specific synthetics such as Teslin®, the Meteor DP60 Paper® has a duty cycle of up to 600,000 pages per month, with a total input capacity of 8,300 sheets and over 2 hours of continuous feed time.
The METEOR DP60 Pro series has full variable data capabilities and is compatible with most standard software applications as well as PPML and VPS formats. Applications include auto-numbering, bar codes, alphanumeric databases, direct mail, photo/identification cards, and a wide range of others.
